Crane Simulators for Ports
Hand Tracking using Oculus
I enhanced VR interactivity using advanced hand tracking in Unity XR and created interactive handles for VR consoles, enabling dynamic control in virtual environments. Additionally, I designed a system that records console positions, allowing for their automatic repositioning in future VR sessions, thus improving user experience and efficiency.
Interface Hardware and UI
I collaborated on integrating hardware like steering wheels and pedals into tractor trailer simulations, focusing on creating user interfaces that intuitively respond to these physical inputs for a seamless user experience.
Upgrading Shipped Systems
I revamped the legacy code for crane simulations, integrating modern frameworks to enhance performance. Additionally, I customized the simulations to meet specific customer needs, showcasing adaptability and a client-centric approach to development.
Bug Fixing Post Install
I effectively diagnosed and resolved bugs in large codebases of previously shipped projects, ensuring smooth operation and high user satisfaction. My proficiency in managing extensive codebases also enabled me to deploy updates efficiently to existing systems post-installation, significantly enhancing their functionality and user experience.

Advanced VR Mechanics
The game features a range of VR mechanics including custom hand grabbing, object snapping, button levers, wheel mechanics, continuous movement, teleportation, and climbing. These mechanics are integrated seamlessly, providing a highly interactive and intuitive gameplay experience.
Shadowgraphs for VFX
Utilizing the Shadowgraph technique, the game delivers stunning visual effects, adding depth and realism to the VR environment. This enhances the player's sense of immersion in the spaceship setting.
Narrative Driven Gameplay
Beyond just puzzle-solving, the game weaves a compelling narrative throughout the experience. This storytelling aspect adds an extra layer of engagement, encouraging players to explore and discover the secrets of their stranded spaceship.
Unique Movement
The game offers versatile movement options, including continuous motion and teleportation, catering to various VR user preferences for in-game navigation. It also features interactive climbing mechanics, providing a unique and physically engaging way for players to move around the spaceship, adding both variety and a more tangible experience to the gameplay.
